Last week, Bill Maher did a stand-up performance in Silicon Valley. Titled "CrazyStupidPolitics", this performance is the first installation of the "Yahoo! Screen Live Standup Series" which allows people to watch live online. In addition to hilariously skewering his usual targets, Maher also provides a preview of what we might see if President Obama wins re-election.

Real funny guy.. the same one who is a vicious religious bigot against Muslims, and parrots actual Nazi thought patterns about the disabled being inferior beings not deserving of human rights.
dmarks: When it comes to religion, Bill Maher is an equal opportunity critic. As for him allegedly parroting Nazi thought patterns, can you provide a link to a quote in which he did?
Specically, contained within the rant:
IF you don't think of a mentally disabled person as a dog (non-human) then you should. Spread the hate, so to speak.
The mentally disabled aren't people because they have a "retarded brain".
They can't advance (which is one of the more mild things said, but it's untrue). And a very silly criterion. An 80 year old non "retard" with alzheimers is not advancing at all.... which makes this person non-human and not deserving of human rights, according to Maher's logic.
Maher toward the end uses "retarded" specifically as an insult to bash the mentally disabled. This is specifically <a href = "http://www.r-word.org/>desparating hate speech</A> (like when the Obama White House called them "fu**ing retards")
I wonder if you will defend him? I've asked several liberals about this, and they either deny he ever said this stuff, or they defend him passionately.
And yes the Nazis started out by dehumanizing this people (much as Maher does) and it resulted in their exermination.
And yes, isn't this far worse than Limbaugh calling someone a slut?
That's 14 million Americans which Bill Maher has targeted. It's worse than the old idea that a black person was 3/5ths of a human being. A dog is 0/5ths.
dmarks: Maher is critical of all religions. As for his beliefs, he refers to himself as an apatheist (which isn't a religious faith).
Comparing criticism against religion with racism is false equivalency. Although he can go too far at times IMO, most of his religious critiques aren't out of bounds.
Thanks for providing the Maher link. I think his comments about the mentally disabled were horrible. However, this clip is from over 10 years ago. Does he still feel this way? I have no idea.
Also, your comparing of Maher's views with Nazi thought patterns is off the mark. You're putting words in his mouth if you believe he thinks the mentally disabled don't deserve human rights.
In regards to your question about what Maher said being worse than what Limbaugh said, again this is false equivalency. You're using a series of disparaging comments made by Maher vs. 1 made by Limbaugh.
The purpose of the "Sunday Funnies" posts is to take a break from the serious stuff and have a laugh or two. If you want to get into a drawn out debate about how horrid you think Bill Maher is, you'll have to do it with someone else.
