On Fox and Friends this week, Steve Doocy, Gretchen Carlson, and Brian Kilmeade made a big deal out of a photo President Obama tweeted in honor of "Talk Like a Pirate Day" (which was Wednesday, September 19th). However, as Al Sharpton points out in the clip below, there's a bit of problem with Doocy, Carlson, and Kilmeade's critique of the president. If these three weren't so stupid, they might be embarrassed by their clownish antics.

Fox and Friends Epic Fail Over Phony Obama/Pirate Controversy

I think that this is one of the problems of having 24 hours of news a day. News stations, especially those leaning on side of the spectrum or the other are stuck finding crappy stories or non-existant issues just to fill the air. This is just an example of it. Even if the picture was taken last week instead of 3 years ago, it still wouldn't have a story worth wiping your behind with let alone airing on national TV.
Waiting for you to blog about this one!
Obama Administration Knew Libya Attack Was Terrorism
Sources confirm to Fox News that the Obama administration knew from Day One that the deadly attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was an act of terror. White House officials, including President Obama, have held to the explanation that the attack was a 'spontaneous action
Curious: Good call about the downside of the 24 hour news cycle. This just shows me that Fox and Friends' contempt for President Obama is greater than their interest in doing actual journalism.
Radical Redneck: Instead of commenting on what I'm NOT blogging about, how about saying something about the actual topic. Could it be that even you can't defend Fox and Friends on this one?
Malc, time to get some other posts, man. Pirate day is months ago. But vote for a scurvy scalawag day is just two days away.
dmarks: You must pardon me, but I do have a life outside the blogosphere. Also, please refer to me as Malcolm. There are only a select few who can call me "Malc" and none of them are in the blogosphere. :-)
