Beautiful, phenomenal, inspirational. I cannot listen to this speech without floods of tears pouring down my face - both in gratitude for all that MLK and his followers achieved but in recognition that there is still work to be done in achieving real equality and respect between all the races and religions. Wonderful post.
And such a shame that Beck's rally couldn't have moved to a different date.
Cambridge Lady: After 47 years, people are still talking about this speech for the adjectives you used in your opening sentence. I doubt if many people will be talking about the drivel Glenn Beck spouted during his rally 7 years later.
